Eliza Gilkyson (nacida en Hollywood, California alrededor de 1950) es una autora y cantante de musica Folk de Austin, Texas . Ella es la hija del compositor y músico , Terry Gilkyson y Jane Gilkyson. Ella es la hermana del guitarrista , Tony Gilkyson , que actuó en Los Angeles con las bandas Lone Justice y X . Ella está casada con el erudito y autor Robert Jensen .
Eliza Gilkyson actuó por primera vez como vocalista en demos y bandas sonoras producidas por su padre, quien escribió varios éxitos en la década de 1950 y comienzos de 1960, y también es conocido como un cantante-compositor de la década de 1960 de películas Disney .Lanzó Eliza '69, su primer álbum, en 1969, mientras quecriaba a su familia en Santa Fe, Nuevo México y no lanzó su segundo album, Love from the Heart, hasta diez años después.
